• Tungsten shot and ammunition are environmentally friendly alternatives to poisonous lead for hunting and in military training.
• Fishing weights are made of a tungsten weighted plastic to replace the conventional lead weights.
• Polymer-tungsten or tungsten heavy metal composites are used as substitutes to lead.
• Tungsten heavy metal alloys with densities of 17-18g/cm³ are used for radiation shielding, collimators or containers for radioactive substances.
